Local and international partners join Australian software company to accelerate international growth in providing technology solutions to the death care industry
Sydney, Australia: OpusXenta, the leading cemetery and crematorium management software solutions provider to the Funeral and Death Care industry, announced the successful completion of its Series A venture funding round. The round was managed for OpusXenta by Clinton Capital Partners and was led by Greyrock Investments and Wismar Capital Management.
The funding will be used to accelerate OpusXenta’s ambitious growth plan, which includes scaling operations, expanding its product offering, and ultimately helping cemeteries, crematoria and funeral homes worldwide adapt to a changing death care services market and to build long term fiscal sustainability.
Working with death care service providers across the private, religious and government sectors, OpusXenta provides a complete set of digital solutions that help manage the business operations and navigate a changing death care landscape.
“Our products have proven valuable and integral to the success of our clients,” said Tony Lorge, CEO at OpusXenta. “Our customers understand the importance of having the right solutions in place to drive revenue, manage costs and to deliver a great customer experience. Our partnership with our venture partners will provide significant expertise for scaling and positioning OpusXenta, and will allow us to continue to improve our product offerings for our current and future customers on a global scale.”
“We’re attracted to the way in which Tony and OpusXenta have applied technology to improve the experience of operators in such a large, socially-important and often overlooked industry. We believe software will continue to disrupt and reshape industries and that great software assets like OpusXenta will become increasingly scarce and valuable,” said Peter Mobbs, founder and Managing Director at Greyrock Investments. “OpusXenta is well positioned to become a global leader in this space and we look forward to working with Tony and the OpusXenta team to further scale the business.”
“When we got involved with OpusXenta, we found a company that produced exceptional software solutions for their death care vertical and were also 100% dedicated to delivering the best customer service available. This has led to them becoming a market leader and we look forward to bringing our skills to the firm to help them take what they do so well to global markets,” said Lee Cook, founder and managing director of Wismar Capital Management.
Both Peter Mobbs and Lee Cook will be joining the OpusXenta board.
